<div></div><br> <br>A high ranking officer stands within the breifing room at attention, as everyone finally makes their way in he starts talking. &quot;Alright people, here is the situation. We&#39;ve got someone deciding that you&#39;re pelts look nice enough on their wall to start hunting them. Anyone who has started traveling through a set location has been targeted and attacked by a hunter with what we can only assume is a high powered rifle. We sent some reconnisance into the area but they haven&#39;t reported back yet, so you&#39;re going in blind.&quot; Turning he points towards five RSX operatives in full combat gear standing off to the side. &quot;We have an unarmed convoy heading out to resupply a small outpost up in the mountains, you and this team here will be riding along. At the half way point you&#39;re to break off and start hunting for our little hunter friend, any questions?&quot;<br> <br>Edel quietly checks over her equipment, ensuring her sword and other weaponry are secured. It&#39;d been too long since she&#39;d been on a good Hunt, and she was geared up for it. Sleek full-body armour under her open white robe, goggles pulled down over her eyes in place of glasses. &quot;No questions, except on if you want them brought or dumped.&quot;<br> <br>&quot;Understood. I figure it&#39;s &#39;wanted dead or alive&#39;? High power rifle means armor ain&#39;t gonna help us much, I guess.&quot; The question comes from a tallish coyote who sits in one corner, watching the officer carefully.<br> <br>Zophah wipes the dust off of her cocktail dress, mockingly unarmored. Her daughter, a storm dragon/kitsune hybrid named Magnusat, stands behind her wearing a black kimono. Beside her is a collared ferral with the nametag Tristan. Zophah says &quot;We&#39;re as ready as we can be.&quot; As she spreads her wings.<br> <br>A giant Hyena yawns, bored and easily 8 feet tall. His usual biker attire is gone, replaced by black jeans, boots, and a dark gray, button up shirt, the type with a lot of pockets. He has a revolver holstered on one side of his waist, an... axe of some sort strapped to his back, and a bat in his hands, which he swings idly. Strapped to his thigh is a Nanite Cannon, built into a handy pistol form, but still packing twelve punches in one round. The Hyena sniffs and looks around, adjusting his belt, with vials a builder Nanites strapped in, able to be popped and injected as needed. 



Samm growls and hefts his bat, resting it over his shoulder. &quot;A&#39;ight,&quot; he growls dangerously, pushing up a pair of shades from his eyes and resting them on his forehead, his hard brown eyes visible. &quot;Do I get ta blow their head off, and what am I getting paid fer this?&quot; That&#39;s Samm, always thinking in terms of blood and money.<br> <br>Fenris has little to say, but goes over his gear with a satisfied little smile on his round face. The chubby tanuki then sets to doing some rather entertaining calisthenics which are completely unhindered by his round belly, his fat, striped tail wagging happily behind him.<br> <br>Razz Shakes his head and sighs. &quot;I&#39;m as ready as i&#39;ll ever be I guess. &quot;He Crosses all four of his arms and sighs yet again. This wasnt going to be easy at all....Still it WOULD be fun. He looks around at the others in the room, nodding as he does.<br> <br>Cecelia lets out a little sigh, a hand at rest on the pistol in her pocket. &quot;Mm.&quot; She nods in confirmation, then adjusts her seating just a bit. &quot;Hope I&#39;m ready, I suppose...&quot; The phoenix mutters, other hand running up and down the opposite arm, checking something unseen. She resumes her silence then, easy to miss amongst the others in the room.<br> <br>&quot;The team being sent in with you will be able to confirm the kill, you will all get payed upon return after he has been removed.&quot; Came their answer from the officer, who already started moving back to other business while leaving the group with said team. There were five operatives, each looking ready for combat as they greet the group. One steps forward, a Caucasian human surprisingly, his teeth flashing white as he smiles. &quot;I&#39;m sergeant Richard Monger, We will be hitching a ride with the convoy. They&#39;ve left us some room in the middle vehicle and the tail, for those to big to fit in a jeep.&quot;<br> <br>Edel glances over Richard before nodding. &quot;This is a big party. Don&#39;t you think it&#39;ll attract attention?&quot; She says, looking over at the others. Well, they might be useful as bait to draw fire, at least. &quot;No matter. Are we ready to get on with this?&quot;<br> <br>Redd nods, &quot;I&#39;ll walk once we reach the mountains, I think. Maybe. Figure something out.&quot; He turns to Edel, &quot;Nah, figure it&#39;ll reduce the chance of any one of us getting shot if he has multiple targets.&quot;<br> <br>Samm blinks at Monger, then groans, rubbing his face. &quot;Aw, fuck. I never thought I&#39;d run into you again, Dick,&quot; the former soldier groans. The Hyena grumbles and heads for the middle vehicle, not one for idle chit chat. Either that, or he doesn&#39;t want to talk to Sergeant Monger. Barely audible, though, is the Hyena&#39;s comment. &quot;We&#39;re all friggin&#39; targets.&quot; Samm raises his voice, to the group. &quot;Just hurry up and get with the convoy. This is a dangerous game we&#39;re playin&#39; here,&quot; he growls.<br> <br>Fenris nods at the explanation and jogs over to the waiting vehicle, wedging himself into the back seat. &quot;Can we get ice cream on the way back?&quot; he asks, as if this was some sort of vacation outing rather than a life or death hunt.<br> <br>Razz Sighs and nods following. &quot;We&#39;re all Targets and I&#39;m the biggest..Greeeat&quot; He chuckles nervously. &quot;WE should look out for each other though... No one needs to die..Cept the bastard we&#39;re after..&quot; He Frowns again. and follows the hyena though he gets on the last one and not in the jeep, being 12 foot and all.<br> <br>Cecelia stays silent, thinking of what she&#39;s been told, then exhales, her form losing its color and shine, as she becomes a normal human once more. &quot;Don&#39;t wanna be a glowing target, I suppose...&quot; The woman mutters, taking her long braid of hair and tying it up further into a bun. &quot;I need a haircut.&quot; She mutters, getting up from her once sitting position to be led to the group&#39;s vehicles.<br> <br>&quot;I can fly overhead in overwatch, at least until we reach the edge of the bubble.&quot; Zophah explains. &quot;After that, I&#39;m riding in a jeep with my daughter.&quot; She then turns to her feral pet and says &quot;Trist, look after Rothian for me until I land.&quot; She then pets the feral on the head and the three of them head out to the jeeps.<br> <br>Everyone quietly files into the vehicles, Fenris getting an eye roll from Monger, while Samm Recieves a rather hard glare from Monger. The vehicles start up, the convoy consisting of two Jeeps and a covered truck, which is now groaning a bit under Razz&#39;s weight along with the supplies, but it manages to chug along. Monger takes the drivers seat on the jeep. The Drive is quiet as they exit the bubble, the radio starting to squeel just a bit as they get out of range before the frequency.<br> <br>Edel makes one finaly ammo check on the weapons that require it before flicking the safety off on her sword scabbard, a faint hum coming shortly after as she lets her eyes close, content to pass the trip in quiet. She didn&#39;t full intend on staying with the group once they arrived, if the opportunity arose to slip away.<br> <br>Redd sits in the back of the jeep, quietly watching the landscape as the group moves towards the mountains. Always pretty up here.<br> <br>The Hyena winces as the convoy leaves the bubble, and he pulls out one of his many vials of builder Nanites, which he quickly stabs into his thigh, sighing in bliss as he injects the Nanites. He opens his eyes and grins toothily, tossing the empty vial out the window without a care before pulling out his colt revolver and polishing it. A Hyena&#39;s gotta take care of his tools of death, right? Make sure they don&#39;t betray him when he needs them most! Samm glances over the over passengers of the Jeep, a scowl on his face. Too damn crowded. And that Coyote&#39;s breath smelled worse than Fenrir&#39;s shit. &quot;What the hell do ya eat?&quot; he groans to Redd, grimacing as he rolls down the window a bit.<br> <br>Fenris is all smiles during the car ride. He even tries to drum up a sing along which turns into a solo as no one else is likely to join in. Something about a hedgehog. The tanuki has a rather pleasant tenor, though his happy singing seems a bit out of place on a trip like this.<br> <br>Razz Sighs and looks at those he&#39;s with. &quot;Heey.. &quot; he says with an awkward smile. Why was he doing this again? &quot;Soo ahh..... Are we going to do this as a team and work together or are we going to all run off and do our own thing?&quot; he sighs and frowns. <br> <br>Cecelia stays very quiet, only raising a brow at Edel, but doesn&#39;t speak up about it. She hums along with Fenris once he gets going, but is likely to keep her mouth shut and her eyes open, said peepers glancing at her comrades, taking in everything they can. The human&#39;s hands fiddle with one another, the woman clearly unsure of what to do with them. &quot;... I don&#39;t know. I can tell some people here just wanna use everyone else as bait... because I&#39;ve considered it too.&quot; She replies to Razz, then goes right back to simple humming.<br> <br>Samm spends 1 builder mass to: Reinforcing and Fueling<br> <br>Zophah replies to Razz &quot;Definitely I&#39;m sticking with the group.&quot; Before she can say anything else her daughter whines. &quot;Mom, I don&#39;t feel so well.&quot; Rothian cries to Zophah as they exit the bubble. Zophah just hugs her close and softly speaks to her &quot;It&#39;s ok Roth. It&#39;s just your first time outside the bubble. Just observe the effects and become stronger with them. We&#39;ll be back in Fairhaven in no time.&quot; Zophah then glances to the other occupants of the truck, trying to ignore the smell. She blushes as Samm looks at her, hoping the stench covers up the smell of her heat.<br> <br>Monger grabs the short wave radio so that everyone hears it. &quot;Lock and load people, coming up on one of the first contact sights.&quot; The convoy starts to slow just a little as it takes a turn in the road. Here it straightens out, a steep ten foot drop a few feet from the road to the left while a ridge rises high into the air on the right, leaving them all in the shade as they go.<br> <br>Edel eagerly clambers out of the jeep and stretches out. &quot;Fantastic.&quot; She pulls her rifle around and adjusts the scope on it before looking down the terrain. &quot;So what&#39;s the plan, then? I need the exercise.&quot; The coyote climbs out of the back of the jeep and walks alongside the truck.<br> <br>Samm rubs at the barrel of his colt, trying to get rid of a smear on the silver metal. He grins happily and holsters the revolver before looking at Edel. &quot;Dependin&#39; on the sightings, they&#39;re somewhere nearby. He looks at the stretch of road and seems to think. He looks up and sniffs, trying to rely on his Fenrir sense of smell to notice anything out of the ordinary. He glances at Redd and grimaces, looking at the other passengers before putting a hand on the side of the jeep and vaulting himself out of the vehicle, deciding to walk. He feels too cramped in the jeep, too much of a target. Better to be out and about...<br> <br>Fenris finishes his song and tips his round, bamboo hat up on his head to ward off the sun and stray bullets. No armor like a little positive thinking! He stretches out in the back seat as others vacate to jog alongside. &quot;We going much further?&quot; he asks, watching the road ahead from beneath his bamboo hat, that contented little smile never slipping.<br> <br>Cecelia wiggles her behind closer to the way out as the others get out, but stays inside the vehicle. &quot;I... don&#39;t know.&quot; She mutters, eyes now glancing over the horizon, her body tensed and her expression blank, not giving away anything of what&#39;s going on inside her head.<br> <br>Razz sighs and looks around. &quot;I&#39;m going to the frist one hit damnit.&quot; He Sighs and looks around. &quot;Well if there was ever a place for things to Go wrong...&quot;His ear perk up and he spies the surrounding Area carefully, or as carefull as one can On a moving truck, everything was tense and ready to move at a moments notice which ment he was jumpy.. probally because here Dying was dead not.. Comming back at a later date.&quot;What have I got myself into&quot; he asks himself again with a slightly Grin. <br> <br>Zophah sudders as the lack of signal gets to her. &quot;It&#39;s been so long since I&#39;ve felt this way. And now it&#39;s worse without my powers.&quot; She then hugs her sleeping daughter sitting beside her. She then turns to Razz and asks &quot;Have you been outside the bubble before?&quot;<br> <br>The Ride goes smooth, all is quiet for now. &quot;Heh...looks like we may be in the clear.&quot; Comments Monger, just as the lead jeep hits a bump. Triggering the IED hidden on the road. Before anyone can react there is a roar of thunder and heat, the explosion tearing the lead car to pieces. Monger jumps in his seat, switch the jeep into reverse as he shots. &quot;We&#39;ve been set up, head back!&quot; Right before a bullet takes the supply trucks engine out, sparks shooting off the hood before it dies. The grund starting to fall under Mongers jeep as the explosion managed to distabilize the ridge, the vehicle staritng to slide down into the Trees below!<br> <br>As the Vehicle starts to slide off the ridge both Cecelia and Edel manage to make it out in time, but Fenris&#39; seatbelt malfunctions, the damn thing not coming apart as the thing goes over! There is the sickening feeling as stomaches are forced in throats, before their is a jaring sensation, the canopy of trees catching the vehicle before it can hit the ground. Fenris would hear branches snapping as the poor sod that was sitting in the passenger seat goes tumbling down to the forest floor below, hitting every branch on the way down.<br> <br>Edel clambers out of the jeep and onto the ridge, rifle going with her. Perfect excuse. She glances around looking for some sort of rock to take cover behind before dropping to a knee and bringing up her sniper, aiming through the scope in hopes of catching sight of the reflected light she glimpsed.<br> <br>&quot;Fuck. Well, there&#39;s Murphy coming for us.&quot; The coyote shakes his head trying to get the ringing to stop. He calls to Fenris and the officer in the jeep. &quot;Ya&#39;ll alright down there? You&#39;ll want to get out of there before gas starts leaking from the tank!&quot;<br> <br>The hyena pauses and looks around. &quot;Hold up,&quot; he growls, sniffing again. He starts to cautiously follow whatever scent his nose has caught, carefully drawing his revolver back out. &quot;I smell a kill,&quot; he growls. 



SUDDENLY BOOM, BAM, EXPLOSION! BANG BANG, SHOTS FIRED! 



Samm dives away from the chaos, to cover, on instinct, rolling onto his back to watch the jeep start to go over, his eyes wide. &quot;Damn,&quot; he whispers, before slowly getting to his feet. He sniffs around, looking for where the shots came from. &quot;Sonuvabitch, I thought this was some hick, not a military nut!&quot; he snaps, his teeth bared in a frightful snarl.<br> <br>Fenris jerks to a stop, hanging upside down. He does not waste his breath shouting about it, but reaches out to get a good grip on something solid before pulling his sword, Tanuki Trouble from its sheath and slicing through his seatbelt. He would stop to help others out if there were not still a well supplied gunman on the loose. The tough and tubby tanuki trots through the underbrush toward the road, pulling his shirt off and tossing it aside, letting his natural coloration hide him a bit as he makes his way back to the road.<br> <br>Razz Sighs. &quot;Nope. this is my First tim-&quot; he stops and looks back at the explosion &quot;Shi-&quot; he stops again when the engine is shot. &quot;FUCK IT&#39;S A TRAP!&quot; HE jumps off the Truck and frowns. Everyone BUT him had guns, And evenif he had one there was NO way he was gonna shoot his intended target. His heart Thumps in his chest before his takes a deep breath and looks around carefully. &quot;Shit...&quot; He Frowns. &quot;EVERYONE OK?&quot; He shouts, no doubt a bad Idea but What else could he do?<br> <br>Cecelia rolls out the vehicle, taking a second to exhale before diving for cover, spotting a familiar sight move away. She shakes her head at the glance, then keeps up her search for something solid to put between her and the next bullet. She ducks behind a rock, staying there in hopes her now plain appearance would be forgotten with everyone else scattered about. &quot;&#39;m fine.&quot; She mutters, hoping Razz could hear her.<br> <br>Zophah jumps up as the road quakes from the explosion, her daughter and pet also getting up quickly. &quot;Stay with the truck!&quot; Zophah yells to her daughter, running out the back to see the damage. With a wave of her wings she sends out her Fiery Feathers to cover those injured in the attack, mending cuts and bruises. She makes sure not to send them to anything flamable, just in case. With that done, she finally looks around to see what attacked them.<br> <br>Down in the valley Fenris makes it to the floor with nothing major injured, not even a sprained ankle. A lot better then the poor sod on the ground beside him, with a large branch sticking out of his chest. Monger manages to make it down as well, but when he hits the ground he lets out a muffled curse, grabbing at his ankle before standing up awkwardly. &quot;Dammit. Jenkins didn&#39;t make it. Grab his rifle if you want, he&#39;s not going to be needing it.&quot; He mutters as he limps foward. As Fenris starts making his way forward he will see a foot path leading up back onto the road, but something was off. The scent of Canine was heavy in the air, and a few cages seem to have been left there open. 

Up on the Ridge it&#39;s quiet, to quiet as no shots are fired. But anyone with a keen sense of hearing will not be able to ignore the sound of a dog whistle going off, followed by the baying of hounds.<br> <br>Edel narrows her eyes at the sound of the whistle and the following sound of dogs. &quot;Alright,&quot; she says, thumbing one of the canisters on her breastplate. &quot;Get ready for an incoming attack. Take up cover out of line of sight, sights on the path ahead.&quot;<br> <br>Redd pulls a few small canisters off out of a bag and pulls a pin from each, dropping them around the truck. &quot;Truck should be safe enough... If that ass doesn&#39;t manage to set it on fire.&quot; Smoke billows from each canister, engulfing the vehicle.<br> <br>Samm snarls and ducks for cover near some rocks, swinging his bat slowly and grinning fiercely, looking like he wants to bash someone&#39;s skull in, relish in the snapping of bones and the screams of agony. There&#39;s a reason to fear Samm, and he&#39;s ready to make it known to the world. He grins toothily, baring his sharp teeth in a threatening grin as he stands out of sight, but within bashing range, using his nose to figure out when to charge and attack. &quot;Let &#39;em come, they&#39;ll die regardless,&quot; he growls, voice low as he focuses on his schnoz.<br> <br>Fenris nods to Monger, snatching up poor Jenkins&#39; weapons, but not taking the time to acquire the vest, not with dogs on the loose. &quot;Quickly please,&quot; the tanuki says pleasantly, hanging the firearms from his weapons harness and sheathing his word in favor of the rifle for the time being, &quot;I think we have incoming.&quot; He starts to trot up the road, ears twitching and eyes scanning the undergrowth and path ahead for movement or traps. He is not so comfortable with the gun as with his other weapons, but it seems like the better choice for the moment.<br> <br>Razz Growls and Frowns. &quot;DOGS!&quot; Hh Crackes both lots of his knuckles and grins there was going to be bloodshed. He sniffs the Air and faces the way the Dog seems to be comming from, He Growls again and Extends his arms as he septs into teh smoke cover, Ready to Grab and Claw and rend.<br> <br>Cecelia inhales, then exhales, being as quiet as she can be. Her eyes slowly close... and then her left snaps open, glimmering with an unnatural light. &quot;... Well, suppose this would be my best option if any of them find me.&quot; She mutters, her pistol in hand and at the ready, eye now darting about to spot the owners of the noise that even a human could hear... dogs on the hunt.<br> <br>Zophah heads to the edge of the cliff, looking down to see what happened to the jeep. With Fenris and Monger in trouble, she glides over to the path to surround them in her fiery feathers, hanging out in the trees above them to stay out of reach of fangs. &quot;I can&#39;t do much but this will help&quot; She says, summoning a spirit bear that lands next to them, giving cover.<br> <br>The hounds draw near, charging down the road towards the smoke cloud. They smelled blood, fangs flashing in the dying light as drool falls from their maw. The smoke screen does a great job obscuring the group from view of the ridge as a round whines right by where Zophah had just been standing at the edge of the cliff. 

Down in the Valley Fenris is having a little better luck avoiding potential death, as he manges to just spot the steel wire stretching along the path straight into some bushies. A trap layed out for runners.<br> <br>Edel slings her rifle around her back as the hounds draw near, dropping into a ready stance. She skirts around the side, clapping her hands together, gloves thudding against each other as she tries to draw the dogs towards her.<br> <br>BOOM! Two barrels full of double ought buck heads for the pack of hounds, the coyote breaking the gun open almost immediately to load another pair of shells into the shotgun.<br> <br>The Hyena goes down, hit in the back by a bullet. A groan... that turns into a snarl as Samm slowly gets to his feet again, turning to look up the road, bat lying on the ground beside him, forgotten. &quot;YA PIECE OF SHIT, GET YER ASS OVER HERE SO I CAN TEAR YOU A NEW ONE,&quot; Samm howls, kicking aside any dogs that get in his way as he tosses his bat into the truck, drawing his revolver. He&#39;d come back for it, but right now he was going to destroy someone, his eyes awash with fiery anger.<br> <br>Fenris holds up a hand to stop the limping RSX agent. &quot;Wire,&quot; he says amiably, then passes the heavy rifle to Monger, &quot;Don&#39;t let anyone trip it, alright?&quot; Then the big tanuki goes jogging off down the road, following the sound of gunfire, but keeping close to covering brush, just in case. He keeps his eyes and ears open as he goes, hoping to avoid any more traps, for such a fuzzy chubb, he certainly can move!<br> <br>Razz Growls at the sound of, an.. angry Hyena? He Frowns and Runs after him, Era Up and alter listening for sounds. &quot;Damnit, Hyena, YOu&#39;ll get yourself killed!&quot; He lets out a low Growl as he chases him, mostly woried he&#39;ll get killed than anything else.<br> <br>Cecelia slowly gets to her feet, as silent as she ever was. She raises her pistol, taking a steady aim with her shimmering eye. The woman takes a few slow, silent breaths from her mouth, focusing on her target... beyond the dogs, up the road. &quot;I can see you, fucker.&quot; Her eye shines, and she takes a shot, followed by fourteen more, in three shot bursts. The human takes just a few seconds inbetween firings to steady her aim once more at the far off target.<br> <br>Zophah stays out of harms way, directing her spirit bear back up the path to cover for Samm as her fiery feathers heal her allies and reciprocate any damage done to them.<br> <br>Three dogs go tumbling, hitting the ground in silence after taking Redd&#39;s shotgun through the teeth. The survivor is out for blood, heading straight for Edel who caught their attention as they leap into the air for her throat. Monger just managed to make his way up the path in time to see the chaos, and as Cecelia shoots she manages to see a man ducking for cover as her rounds throw up dirt and chunks of rock.<br> <br>Edel frowns as only one of the dogs makes it out of Redd&#39;s shotgun blast alive, but one is better than none. As it comes for her and leaps she brings her hand up to take it by the throat and pivots, bringing it through the air in an arc and down to the ground hard, where she promptly moves to pin it. She seems to have dealt with this kind of attack before, certainly.<br> <br>Redd moves around the truck and sees the shattered windshield. He rushes to open the cab door and assist the medic with the bleeding men.<br> <br>Samm groans and can&#39;t get many more death threats out, mainly because of the wound in his back. He stumbles towards the van and leans against the side, smearing blood along the canvas before reaching in and dragging out a medkit. Samm snarls and tosses things aside left and right, looking for things to patch himself up with. Others be damned, he had a Hunter to kill! &quot;Fuck, just gimme some pain killers or something,&quot; he growls, using what he can.<br> <br>Fenris moves quickly and quietly along the ridge, searching for any sign of this troublesome and dangerous hunter. That flash just before the car was blown off the road had been around here somewhere, not to mention the continued gunfire.<br> <br>Razz Fowlls samm and helps him with teh medkit, barring bandage and stuffing and.. things to stop bleeding from within it. He Frowns at samm and sighs. &quot;Lets me help you damnit-it&#39;l be crude but.. I&#39;m having you die.  He Huffs and proceeds to (probally badly) bandage the Hyena up. <br> <br>Cecelia sighs, and then licks her lips, diving back into cover, taking a moment to grab another round of ammo from her pocket, before taking off after the hunter, taking a quick moment to check that no one that is dying goes without help, before taking off after the hunter, ducking in and out of rocks, knowing that the hunter has range on her... for now.<br> <br>Zophah&#39;s daughter, Rothian, walks out from the truck carrying a medkit from the supplies stored within. And with Tristan&#39;s protection she helps Samm treat his own injuries. In seeing a shadow by Cecelia, Zophah glides back over to her to give chase to the mysterious entity.<br> <br>There wasn&#39;t much of a chase, as Cecelia and Zophah charge the figure leans out from the rocks again and fires three times, the bullets whining close by as Cecelia feels something close to a claw tugging at her clothes, a nice new bullet hole added to her outfit but so far not much of a scratch on them. As Fenris inspects the location he will notice boot prints heading in an eastern direction, and he could tell just by looking that the shooter was running.<br> <br>With Edel on top of him the dog struggles, snapping at her while tiring itself out under her death grip.<br> <br>And with Redd&#39;s help the medic manages to stabilize her teammates, giving the coyote a hint of a smile on her tired blood smeared face. &quot;Thank you, was worried there for a moment, couldn&#39;t stop the bleeding.&quot;<br> <br>&quot;Shh, shh,&quot; Edel encourages, remaining seated atop the dog&#39;s upper chest, while one elbow pins it at the shoulder, and the other forearm pressed against the side of it&#39;s neck and head, keeping its muzzle to the ground. &quot;It&#39;s alright,&quot; she soothes. &quot;Rest.&quot;<br> <br>&quot;Don&#39;t let anyone tell ya yotes don&#39;t help others.&quot; Redd slides down the pile of dirt towards where the jeep went over. He follows Fenris and Monger in hopes of getting them back to contact RSX for some assistance cleaning up.<br> <br>Samm pushes Razz off, content with the shot of morphine. &quot;I&#39;m fine, dammit, get the hell off me! Nothin&#39; wrong with me,&quot; he growls, stumbling to his feet and spotting the coyote run off. &quot;Where the hell is he going?&quot; he growls, tightening his armored vest and taking off after Redd, using his nose as he slings his axe off his back and grips it tightly. It was time to take his payment. Blood for blood, eye for eye.<br> <br>Fenris nods once, adjusts his weapon harness, which is currently his only clothing (Not that there is anything to see, mind) then pads off at full speed, following the trail in the dirt. Can&#39;t let a manhunter escape, after all. He&#39;ll be all the harder to catch next time. The tanuki keeps alert for traps like that nasty little wire earlier.<br> <br>Razz Growls And Grabs the medkit before dashing after the hyena. &quot;DAMNIT ATLEAST LET ME BANDAGE IT!&quot; HE Screams as he races after him, sounding like a Crazed fox, Which he very much is right now.<br> <br>Cecelia grits her teeth as the wound grazes her side, but finally manages to get to the shooter. &quot;gotcha, you bastard.&quot; She tackles him, using her overpowering strength to pin the hunter down, not afraid to break a finger if she has to. She reveals a leash wrapped around her arm that was hidden under her sleeve, and uses it to try and hog tie the hunter, or at least bind his hands together and take that gun from him.<br> <br>Zophah sends her bear spirit with the other half of the group as she helps Cecelia tie up the shooter.<br> <br>The Trail turns cold for Fenris as the boot prints stop where the tire marks end, the hunter having gotten into a vehicle and fled. Both Cecelia and Zophah manage to subdue the hunter, a rather angry gruff looking man in flannel snarling as a skinning knife clatters to the ground once pinned. Monger storms his way back to the vehicle and looks at the chaos before muttering as he gets the trucks radio. &quot;...This is going to be hell to explain to the higher ups.&quot; Edel calms the bloodhound, whos now on the ground panting underneath her. And as for Samm and Redd, the most they find down in the valley is the body of the RSX operative, the few cages and the path that Fenris took.<br> <br>Edel remains atop the dog for a moment longer as it goes still. She slooowly starts to ease off, making sure the dog won&#39;t make another lunge for it as soon as she gives a little slack. Typical dog dominance stuff. &quot;It&#39;s alright. Stay calm,&quot; she says, keeping her tone even.<br> <br>Redd returns from the lower area with Jenkins&#39; body, having removed the branch from his chest. &quot;Well, I got one guy. I&#39;m not sure about where the first jeep&#39;s occupants are though.&quot; The coyote sets the dead man&#39;s body down next to the truck before wrapping it in a tarp from the supplies in the back.<br> <br>Samm looks around and huffs, leaning on his war axe. He scavenges what he can off the RSX operative. So, everything. If questions are asked, he&#39;ll shrug. &quot;He doesn&#39;t need it anymore.&quot; The Hyena growls and pushes off his axe, looking around. &quot;Extra Crispy,&quot; he says to Redd, picking up the skinning knife and twirling it in his hands, eyeing the captured hunter. &quot;We got one of &#39;em,&quot; he growls, clearly angry that they didn&#39;t catch them both. &quot;We need to come back out here and do a search,&quot; he mutters, leaning against the truck. Maybe he&#39;ll come out here on a hunting trip of his own...<br> <br>Fenris sighs, looking down at the receding tire treads. &quot;Poop,&quot; he says, as close to swearing as the tubby tanuki is likely to get. He notes the direction, but there is not much he is likely to be able to do here. He sets off at a gentle trot back toward the rest of the group. Maybe he can be useful there. Or find his shirt at least. And hat. It was awkward to be wearing nothing but weapons. These RSX guys had better have good ice cream.<br> <br>Razz Sighs and Frowns he looks around And nods. &quot;well. First time outta the bubble and I didnt get hurt! WOO-HOO! Granted I killed nothing but Eh.&quot; He Ssmiles slightly. &quot;How many were lost then?&quot; he asks witha frown. &quot;ATleast.. one.. I think?&quot;<br> <br>Cecelia relieves the man of everything he has, then sighs. &quot;Thanks, Zophah.&quot; She gets up, carrying and or dragging the man back over to the main group. &quot;I presume you fine fellows of RSX are looking for this?&quot; She holds up the bound man, a small smirk on her face.<br> <br>Leaving the hunter to Cecelia, Zophah picks up the shooter&#39;s gun and knife to take back to the group, admiring the pre-Promethian craftsmanship. Back at the truck she hugs her daughter and her pet, a smile on her face as they are unharmed.<br> <br>With all the bodies accounted for, as best as possible since the front vehicle was destroyed and at least one of the hunters captured Monger calls in for support and evacuation. &quot;That was a rather hairy situation, but I guess it would of gone alot worse without you operatives.&quot; He comments to all before evac arrives, and the group is wisked back to RSX.[[Category:RPLogs]]
